Only a beginner!

So before I start, I just wanna say, I am still new to everything make up wise so give me some time to become better acquainted with it before giving me too much shit!

Anyway, I've been on a mission to spice up my makeup collection since I was very basic at the start of the year. So before I get too carried away, I thought I better show you what was part of my old routine so you can see how much I have changed to it and opened up my makeup world.

I started out with a primer from Australis. I honestly only got a primer because I heard all the makeup gurus on YouTube talk about having one. This was the cheapest one I could get at the age of 17.

Next I brought the lightest foundation I could find which was one from Rimmel. I had heard good things from Zoella about this foundation so I gave it a go.

However, I would later find out that this was not my shade.

I then would powder my face with another product from Rimmel. Again I went for the cheapest one which was actually one of the best ones I've tried.

I got in Transparent. Which is exactly how I would describe my skin tone.

I then would put on black mascara, despite the fact I was a Red (more ginger) head. which was one I saw my Aunt using and so thought it would work for me.

After watching many youtubers such Laura Lee, Manny MUA, Nikkia Joy, Jeffree Star, Michael Finch and many more I have learnt better ways to apply my makeup and new items which have become part of my ride or die makeup. I will talk more about that in my next post.
